The new location of New York and Montreal’s famous eatery ESTIATORIO MILOS was opened in 2012 south of fifth on Miami Beach. The eatery is famous for it’s greek style seafood and fresh selection flown in daily.
Bryce joined the project in 2011 as the Assistant Project Manager when he joined STA Architectural Group. The office was tasked with the shell building design and construction, the design of the back of house and food service areas, and coordinating with the interior designer Jeffery Beers International. The shell was constructed by combining two former mechanical shop warehouses, both at different base elevations, to create a single cohesive structure that read as one building.
As the Assistant Project Manager, Bryce handled the daily CA including RFI’s and Submittal review as well as developing design sketches to resolve problems during construction. He filled in as the primary Project Manger for a period when the firms appointed PM left the country, and oversaw the revised layout of the kitchen during this period.
As part of the design and construction team, he was part of the punch list, test fire, and soft opening activities which included close coordination and management of the consultant engineers to handle start-up issues and last minute design revisions by ownership.
